New book chapter on early career academics in Germany

Apart from two introductory chapters explaining the structure and logic of the publication and providing an overview of the problem the book contains 10 country studies (Brazil, Mainland China, France, Germany, India, Norway, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, USA) about the pathways of young doctoral candidates and postdocs into academia and the problems and difficulties they encounter in this. The book finishes with a comparative chapter assessing future prospects.
